This weekend is one of my favorite events in the Triangle — the annual Piedmont Farm Tour, sponsored by the awesome Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA). Everything about this yearly happening is stupendous: you get to visit some 40 farms (don’t try to see them all!) for $25 a carload, the scenery is great, you’re helping a good cause, and it’s TONS OF FUN. You can meet your farmers, see a variety of farms (some typically closed to the public), and chat with folks out doing the same thing you are. Don’t forget to take money and coolers, because many farms have products for sale as well. That’s this weekend, April 26-27, from 2 to 6 p.m. both days. See you there!
