Farm Fresh public party and other Triangle farm-food events

All “Farm Fresh North Carolina” events below are free and open to the public. Bring your farm-loving friends!

Monday, March 7, at 6 p.m. at Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Ave, Durham. “Farm Fresh North Carolina” book launch party featuring farmers in the book, food from Scratch and Farmhand Foods, live bluegrass from the Piedmont Lowlanders, and farm-focused door prizes. Book sales by the Regulator. (Diane will sign books if you want!)

Tuesday, March 8, at 7 p.m. at Flyleaf Books, 752 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Chapel Hill. Diane will host the conversation “From Farm to Fork” with chef and James Beard semi-finalist Aaron Vandemark of Panciuto in Hillsborough, Helga MacAller of Four Leaf Farm in Rougemont and Ben Bergmann and Noah Ranells of Fickle Creek Farm in Efland, followed by appetizers and book signing.

Thursday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Quail Ridge Books, 3522 Wade Ave., Raleigh. Diane will host the conversation “From Farm to Fork” with chef and James Beard semi-finalist Scott Crawford of Herons at The Umstead Hotel in Cary, Deborah Underwood Brown of High Ground Farm in Duncan, and Tom Kumpf of Double-T Farm in Garner, followed by appetizers and book signing.

Saturday, March 19, at 11 a.m. McIntyre’s Fine Books, 2000 Fearrington Village Center, Pittsboro. Diane will present a “Farm Fresh North Carolina” slide show and talk.
